The Greater Noida Authority plans to revive water bodies in the region through a campaign that involves the use of advanced techniques like in-situ wetland, ozonization, floating island, and aeration. CEO NG Ravi Kumar has instructed the identification of five ponds as a pilot project for this initiative. The cleaning and beautification of all ponds in Greater Noida are currently underway, with efforts to prevent dirt from entering the ponds. In addition to cleaning, a plan is being developed to improve water quality using the mentioned techniques.
